Duegent is a conversation-first research agent for the positions you actually hold: an analyst that remembers your book, shows up on schedule, and can point at the source for everything it says.
We're in closed beta
Sign-up runs on invite codes right now, the allowance is granted by us, prices are hidden, and nothing auto-charges. What we want out of this stage is the problems that only show up in real use — tell the agent in chat and it reaches us.
Why we built it
It grew out of a Python tool the author used daily for a year: a five-part morning read, 14 technical signals, risk rules, and the habit of scoring his own calls afterwards. The shape worked; what it lacked was a real home as a product. Duegent is that rebuild.

Coaches your questions, doesn't just chat
The first thing most people type at an AI tool is "how's X doing", and what comes back is boilerplate that fits anyone. Duegent steps in only when the question is vague: a few sharper alternatives under the reply, built from your positions, cost basis and today's signals, one tap to ask. Precise questions just get answered. The angles you keep adopting are the direction your agent evolves.
Where we stand on privacy
Holdings are about as sensitive as personal data gets. In Self-Host mode research runs on your own machine and position detail is never fed to a third-party LLM. Account data lives on our servers, moves over TLS, API credentials are separately encrypted, everything is exportable, and the whole account can be permanently deleted at any time. Broker import only parses the text you paste, discards it after parsing, and never asks for your broker credentials.
Honesty as a feature
Every number carries its source and as-of time. Missing an FX rate means no total, not a fabricated one. No quote means we say so. Hit rate is computed and shown to you, and the rolling backtest publishes the vintages that lagged the benchmark too — we sell evidence, not confidence.
What Duegent is not
Not a broker, not an investment adviser, not a black box selling signals. It never touches trading and never hands you a buy or sell instruction. It is research software; the decision and the risk stay yours.
